Cyber, digital, data, and technology

This assessment is targeted at our digital specialists – those who work in the DDaT division and who are professionals in the industry.

It’s purpose is to help us identify our strengths and weaknesses across the department, and spot people with hidden talents, as well as highlighting where we have gaps.

The assessment is based upon the LGA’s CDDaT framework, which is made up of 84 skills in total, which are categorised into 10 skills ‘families’.

The assessment takes around 30 minutes to complete – you can save your progress and complete it later if you wish.

How does it work?

You will go through all the skills, family by family.

It is likely that you won’t be very knowledgable at all about some of these skills – that’s totally fine and to be expected! Nobody knows everything, after all.

If you do know a lot about a certain subject, the assessment will ask for some more details, so we can understand a little better. Please be as descriptive as you can about this.

Finally, you will also be asked whether you would like to learn more about the skills in the framework, so if you’d like to develop your career in a certain direction, make sure you indiudate your interest in the assessment!
